I wanted to just drop a line to let you all know that Czar is fine and seems to be adjusting well here at home :) I attach a picture for you to see - he has already put on a little weight and his coat is coming in nice and bright and thick.
We go walking a couple times a day and are discovering Austin's parks and trails together in a new and awesome way. I wanted to thank you again for helping to cover his foot surgery - it really was a great help for us, and Czar's foot is almost totally healed now, with only a scar to show. The surgery required a little more healing time than we had expected - about 4 weeks, and 2 weeks with the awful head cone! But Czar has been precious and is so well behaved, he literally has not been anything but a pure pleasure. I will keep you posted if you like on our progress - his puppy side is starting to come out now and he's even talking a little! Thank you again for bringing us together :)With love,[Adopter]
